Poor Quality Computer Printer InkEveryone who owns a printer has, at one time or another experienced the trials and tribulations of printer ink. One second you are getting great photo quality pictures, and then next you can hardly see anything at all. When many people encounter these problems, they automatically assume it is their printer. They start troubleshooting, taking out their ink cartridges, and unplugging the printer. Then when none of that works, they buy another ink cartridge, assuming that the old one was dead. This starts the process all over again. People often ignore the fact that their ink quality may be affecting the finished product. It seems like they should all be the same, just a few basic colors that blend to form several brilliant colors, but in reality, poor quality computer printer ink can ruin the look of your printing and shorten the life of your printer cartridge. Print quality is how good the things you are printing look. If you have a good quality ink cartridge, your colors will be bright and vibrant, with no signs of fading or wearing out. Poor quality ink cartridges will have uneven or faded colors. The ink may show up thick or may smudge prematurely. Another symptom of poor quality ink is that the ink fades fast once it has dried on the paper. One thing to consider when judging the quality of your ink is whether or not your ink is compatible with your printer. Some printers only use ink of the same brand. Others will take anything. Cartridge life is another sign of the quality of your computer printer ink. Cartridges only last so long, but if it seems like you are replacing one every day and you aren’t printing a novel or photo album, you may be using poor quality ink. Once you determine that your printer is operating properly, you can safely assume that your ink cartridge is the culprit. Try buying another brand of ink cartridge. If that is not an option because of your printer’s brand, then try using a different type of cartridge from that brand. Once you have gotten rid of your poor quality computer printer ink, you should start printing beautiful work. Always make sure to align your new print cartridges (your printer should automatically tell you to do this), that way your printed items look evenly spaced and aligned. After that it’s smooth sailing, at least until you need a new ink cartridge.
